Providence Performing Arts Center

Listed on the National Register of Historic Places, the Providence Performing Arts Center is a magnificent 3,100-seat theater and concert venue. The jewel of Providence's arts and entertainment district, the PPAC is a grand and historic theater that present's the city's most exciting performing arts, including touring Broadway shows, contemporary plays, musicals, comedy shows, dance productions and big-name concerts with the hottest bands and artists. Every year, the Broadway Series exposes Providence to the most acclaimed shows and musicals of our day.

Restaurants Around the PPAC

The Down City area of Providence, one of the hottest culinary destinations in the country, has many trendy restaurants and eateries near the venue. Minutes away, you’ll find Aspire Restaurant, Sienna Restaurant, Bravo Brasserie, ROI Food & Music, Capital Grille, CAV, Davenport’s, Eleven Forty Nine, Hemenway's Seafood Grill & Oyster Bar and Parkside Rotisserie and Bar.

Food & Beverage

The PACC offers a stocked concession stand that sells beer, wine, drinks and food prior to the show and during intermission. No outside food or drinks may be brought into the theater.


  • Is there parking near the PPAC?

    There are plenty of parking lots and garages close to PPAC in all directions, including the lot directly behind the venue. There is also metered parking on the side streets surrounding PPAC, including Page, Weybosset, Pine and Richmond. Marriott Providence Downtown offers a free shuttle to the PPAC with a reservation.
  • How can purchase tickets?

    You can buy tickets online, by phone at 401-421-2787, or at the PPAC Box Office located at 220 Weybosset Street in downtown Providence. The Box Office is open Monday - Friday from 10 am - 5pm and Saturday 10 am - 2 pm and through curtain times on show days. If you are purchasing from out of state, you are limited to 8 tickets on a credit card.
