Relax in the Bluefin Grille with colleagues or watch the big game on one of the lounge's built-in televisions. The Bluefin Lounge offers a full bar and casual menu. Food service is available Sunday - Thursday till 11:00 pm, until 12:00 am on Friday and Saturday.

The last few weeks of winter are bearable when you know you can begin planting your garden. Our food & beverage team has been planning our 2018 urban chef's garden and will break ground as soon as there are no longer any threats of frost. in new england, lettuce or spinach is sometimes planted around st. patrick's day but not likely this year as we just had a 12" snow storm. greens (seeds) can still go into the ground when it is slightly frozen as long as there are warm days. that will happen soon...we promise. We're looking forward to it and hope you are too!

A Little Bit About our Executive Chef Franco Paterno:

Franco Paterno was born and raised in southern Italy in a region known for its pristine waters, and continual sunshine. He was heavily influenced by his family's business which managed growing and production of figs, olives, grapes for wine making, as well as many other fruits and vegetables. Franco immigrated to Rhode Island as a young teen, and began working in a small family owned Italian restaurant, where he was introduced to the restaurant industry.
Chef Paterno has repositioned the hotel's dining choices from a meat and potatoes buffet to a la carte fine dining menu offerings. The award-winning Bluefin Grille has a casual elegance atmosphere; serving locally inspired and responsibly caught seafood. AQUA, Providence's only poolside restaurant and resort style lounge has been recognized by Rhode Island Monthly as the state's Best Outdoor Lounge. Chef Paterno is a regular guest on the Rhode Show, has won the People Choice Award for the Best Chili at the Rhode Island Chili Festival and he is featured in Providence Journal, Rhode Island Monthly, Providence Phoenix, GoLocalProv.com, Providence Monthly as well as Bon Appetit Magazine.
